3 Unidentified Victims Hurt in Rollover Car Accident on Tyler Street in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 14, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, three victims sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on California Avenue.
 
The Riverside Fire department revealed that the two-vehicle crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the California Avenue and Tyler Street intersection. According to Battalion Chief Scott Wilson, the impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn. As a result, the driver was trapped inside the wreckage.
 
When emergency personnel arrived, they administered a rescue operation. Riverside Fire Crews had to free one of the victims by utilizing the jaws of life. Paramedics then transported the trapped driver to Riverside Community Hospital for further treatment of moderate injuries.
 
An occupants inside another vehicle was also taken to a nearby hospital with injuries. In addition, another occupant sustained minor injuries but refused further medical attention.
 
At this time, the Riverside police traffic bureau is currently handling the crash investigation.
