3 Hospitalized in Mesa Traffic Accident on Loop 202 and McDowell Road

 
MESA, AZ (May 24, 2021) – Saturday night, three people sustained injuries in a rollover crash on Loop 202 and McDowell Road.
 
According to the Mesa Fire officials, the incident happened at around 8:10 p.m. on Loop 202 and McDowell Road.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle crashed and rolled over for still unknown reasons. The force of the crash ejected all three people inside the vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, responders from Mesa Fire and Medical Department transported patients to a hospital. They transported a man in his 30s, a woman in her 20s, and a 4-year-old boy with critical injuries.
 
Also, the crash closed the westbound lanes of Loop 202 at McDowell Road for almost three hours, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
 
The events leading to the crash are under investigation.
