3 Hospitalized in Goodrich Auto Accident on Highway 59
GOODRICH, TX (March 21, 2023) – Sunday morning, three people sustained injuries in a Texas Department Of Corrections vehicle crash on Highway 59.
The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 59, two miles south of Goodrich.
According to reports, the Texas Department Of Corrections vehicle crashed with two officers and one inmate onboard.
Moreover, responders transported the two officers to Kingwood Hospital for treatment. Then, paramedics transported the inmate to Memorial Hermann with unknown injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
