3 Hospitalized in Anaheim Car Accident on Brookhurst Street
ANAHEIM, CA (November 18, 2020) – Last Monday, three people sustained injuries after a crash on Brookhurst Street.
According to authorities, the incident happened in the 200 block of Brookhurst Streets. Moreover, police officers responded to the scene at around 5:30 p.m., where a BMW SUV rear-ended an Acura MDX in the middle southbound lane.
While two officers are standing outside and checking the SUV, the crash, and the drivers, a Honda Civic rear-ended the BMW and struck a driver and one officer.
Responders transported the driver and the officer to a hospital after sustaining injuries, Anaheim Police Sgt. Shane Carringer said.
The officer had a broken leg among his injuries, Carringer added.
The Honda driver was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The injured were all released from the hospital by Tuesday.
Officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash on Brookhurst Street.
