The crash between a school bus and a minivan occurred at around 1:15 p.m. Moreover, it happened on northbound Daisy Avenue and Willits Street.

According to reports, a Toyota Sienna driver didn’t yield to a stop sign on Daisy Avenue. Then, it crashed into a westbound school bus on Willits Street.

Afterward, the bus crashed into a fence and a yard. Reports revealed that the minivan drove around 40 to 50 mph before the crash. Meanwhile, the bus traveled around 20 mph.

Responders took Sienna’s male driver to an area hospital with moderate injuries.

The CHP confirmed that four students aging from 9 to 15 rode the bus during the crash. Responders transported two of those children to Children’s Hospital of Orange County to be checked for “complaint of pain” injuries. Meanwhile, the two other students were released to a parent or guardian.
