3 Injured in Spokane Auto Accident on North Division Street
SPOKANE, WA (October 2, 2020) – Thursday morning, three people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on North Division Street in Spokane.
At around 9:40 a.m., a southbound red Ford Expedition ran the red light on North Division Street. As a result, the Ford crashed into a pest control truck turning off Francis Avenue.
Officer Trevor Nollmeyer with the Spokane Police Department Traffic Unit added that the Expedition then headed south. There, the vehicle struck a sedan and collided with an SUV head-on.
Officer John O’Brien confirmed that they dispatched a drug-recognition expert to identify whether the driver was impaired.
As a result, responders transported three people to the hospital. One of them suffered significant injuries while the other two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Due to limited information, the crash remains under active investigation.
