Injuries Reported in Snohomish Auto Accident on Highway 2 near Three Lakes Road
SNOHOMISH, WA (October 2, 2020) – Wednesday morning, three people suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 2 near Three Lakes Road.
At about 10:20 a.m., a female driver of a Subaru tried to make an illegal U-turn. She drove across a double yellow line and caused a van to collide with the vehicle. This incident occurred on Highway 2 near Three Lakes Road, trooper Heather Axtman revealed.
The crash trapped two occupants in the van. Both of them remained conscious but required extrication. Then, responders took the two patients to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Axtman revealed that the Subaru driver suffered serious injuries. However, she was expected to survive and will probably receive a citation for the crash, but felony charges won’t be one of them.
By noon, the road has reopened.
