3 Injured in Hemet Car Accident on Stetson Avenue

 
HEMET, CA (January 10, 2020) – Three people required hospitalization after a car accident on W. Stetson Avenue and S. Elk Street on January 5.
 
The City of Hemet police and fire departments, along with AMR and other emergency personnel all responded to the crash just before 9:00 p.m.
 
When fire officials came to the scene, they located two heavily-damaged dark-colored vehicles in the middle of the intersection blocking westbound traffic. They also noticed vehicle parts and debris scattered throughout the road.
 
The police diverted traffic away from the area, with all westbound traffic stopped and detoured from S. Palm Avenue.
 
Medical responders transported three people to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment. However, their condition and nature of injuries are still unknown as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, the Hemet PD is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
