GLENDALE, AZ (May 3, 2021) – Sunday morning, three people died in a wrong-way crash on Loop 101 near Camelback Road in Glendale, Arizona.
 
According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident happened on Loop 101 near Camelback Road at around 2:30 a.m.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound vehicle traveled the wrong way on northbound Loop 101. Then, it collided with a northbound vehicle.
 
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that a man and a woman in the northbound vehicle and the wrong-way driver died in the crash.
 
Moreover, a driver crashed into the first two vehicles and sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, a fourth vehicle suffered damages from the crash debris.
 
Meanwhile, officials closed the freeway for several hours to give way to the investigation.
