3 Killed in Carmel Auto Accident on Highway 1 and Carmel Valley Road
CARMEL, CA (May 23, 2021) – Friday night, three people died in a solo crash on Highway 1 and Carmel Valley Road in Carmel, California.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound 2018 Chevy Silverado failed to make a proper turn on when two roads converged. As a result, it crashed into a hill in the area.
Afterward, responders pronounced all three people inside the vehicle, dead at the scene.
Also, officers confirmed that the three victims failed to wear their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Moreover, CHP said that it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
