2 Injured in Fatal Solo-Car Crash near Martin Road
(June 18, 2022) On Thursday evening, 3 people died and 2 others were injured in a solo-car DUI crash on Road Q.
Authorities say that the fatal collision happened near Martin Road at about 10 p.m.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s office that a car with 5 occupants was traveling at high speed rolled multiple times after failing to negotiate a curve on the road.
Meanwhile, beyond the curve was a slight downward embankment. The impact of the crash ejected one of the victims 110 feet away from the wreck.
Paramedics transported 2 survivors to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for treatment.
Authorities say that impairment may be a factor in the crash.
Authorities have not released information on the victims at this time.
