3 Dead in Fontana Auto Accident on 210 Freeway and Citrus Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (January 15, 2023) – Saturday morning, three people died in a wrong-way crash on 210 Freeway and Citrus Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:34 a.m. on 210 Freeway and Citrus Avenue.
 
According to reports, the crash involved two vehicles, a Ford sedan, and a Lexus SUV.
 
Reports said that the sedan drove the wrong way and traveled east on the westbound lanes.
 
Then, the sedan passed the Citrus Avenue exit and crashed into the SUV, carrying five passengers inside.
 
Photos revealed that the two vehicles were completely crushed. Also, auto parts and debris were strewn across the freeway.
 
Both drivers of the sedan and SUV died at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities identified the five SUV passengers as a 43-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl, a 5-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy, all from Highland.
 
Then, responders transported a 16-year-old girl to a local hospital where she later succumbed to injuries.
 
Moreover, responders took three other passengers with major injuries to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remained unknown.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
