Infant in Critical Condition after Deadly Crash on 15 Freeway in Nipton

 
NIPTON, CA (September 16, 2019) – Three people were killed and two others were airlifted following a traffic accident Monday just before noon in unincorporated community of Nipton located within San Bernardino County.
 
The crash happened around 11:57 a.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway, about two miles past Cima Road.
 
According to an initial report by the CHP, the impact of the crash killed three people. An infant and one other patient were airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Authorities did not indicate the number of involved vehicles and how the crash exactly transpired.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
