Three People Hospitalized after Crash on Jimmie Kerr Boulevard in Casa Grande

Casa Grande, AZ (February 17, 2022) – Thursday morning, three people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Jimmie Kerr Boulevard.

The three-vehicle crash in Casa Grande happened on February 17.

Police said a driver in a sedan waited in the left turn lane to turn onto the on-ramp to I-10 eastbound when struck from behind by the driver of a box truck.

Then the sedan was thrown into oncoming traffic and again struck head-on by another car.

EMS flew the driver of the sedan to a Valley hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Moreover, the driver and a passenger in the other car were taken to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. The driver of the box truck remained uninjured.

No other information is immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
