3 Hospitalized after Tempe Auto Accident on Highway 143
TEMPE, AZ (August 5, 2020) – Monday morning, three people suffered injuries in a tanker truck crash on Highway 143.
The Tempe police revealed that the incident happened just before 3:00 a.m. According to reports, an SUV crashed with a tanker truck carrying milk. Moreover, the police suspect that the SUV may have failed to yield at a red light and caused the crash.
Due to the impact of the collision, the tanker overturned and landed on its side.
Thus, responders transported three SUV occupants to a hospital. One of them suffered serious injuries. Meanwhile, the tanker truck driver didn’t require hospitalization.
