David Fabyanchuk, Richard Gales, Milissa Ormiston, Emmanuel Gales, and Daniel Belash Involved in Collision
VANCOUVER, WA (May 27, 2018) – An 18-year-old Battle Ground man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault and felony hit-and-run, after a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 14 on Sunday evening.
The crash was reported at around 5:30 PM at the Columbia Shores exit, just one mile east of downtown Vancouver. Officers stated that David Fabyanchuk, 18, was driving an older yellow BMW coupe at high speeds when he rear-ended another vehicle at the Columbia Shores exit off-ramp. The impact caused the second vehicle to crash into another vehicle.
The other drivers involved were identified as 59-year-old Richard Gales of Vancouver and 51-year-old Milissa Ormiston of Vancouver. Gales and a passenger, 20-year-old Emmanuel Gales, were reported injured, as was a passenger in Fabyanchuk’s BMW, 19-year-old Daniel Belash of Vancouver. All were transported to the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for medical assessment and treatment of injuries.
Fabyanchuk was reported to be in custody at the Clark County Jail on Monday morning.
