4 Vehicles Involved in Morning Crash on Highway 101 in Salinas, Injuries Reported
SALINAS, CA (May 30, 2019) – Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Salinas, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 5:27 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 at John Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles, including a silver Nissan Altima and a silver Chevrolet Silverado, collided for unknown reasons.
Arriving officers located one person trapped inside a vehicle. Paramedics worked on the extrication and transported a total of three patients to a hospital.
No additional information was provided at this time. The full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
