Late Afternoon Crash on 91 Freeway in Corona Leaves 3 People Injured
CORONA, CA (June 18, 2019) – Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash late Tuesday afternoon in Corona.
The crash took place at 5:10 p.m. on westbound 91 Freeway, just East of 71 Freeway.
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a green BMW, a gray Ford Fiesta and a red Ford F-150. Three people were injured from the crash, but the extent of injuries sustained was not immediately known.
Paramedics took the injured patients to Orange County Global Medical Center for proper treatment.
A SigAlert was issued, closing the first lane of the freeway while the rescue and clearing operations were being conducted.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. We will continue to update this post as new details are released.
