3 Hurt in Santa Barbara Car Crash
SANTA BARBARA, CA (February 27, 2020) – Three people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Foothill Road on February 24.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department revealed that the head-on crash near Santa Barbara injured three people, including an infant.
The crash between a sedan and an SUV happened at around 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Foothill Road and Duncan Road, revealed the California Highway Patrol.
County firefighters and crews from the city of Santa Barbara, along with two AMR ambulances, came to the crash scene, fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli confirmed.
Bertucelli later added that responders took three patients with minor to moderate injuries to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The authorities also closed Foothill Road following the crash, which remains under investigation.
The identities of the injured remain unreleased as of this time.
