16-year-old Driver Dies in Skagit County Deadly Collision
Burlington, WA (February 20, 2022) On Friday, 3 people were injured and a 16-year-old girl died in a fatal crash on Young Road.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says the deadly collision happened around 10 p.m. on Young Road, near Best Road.
Officials say an eastbound vehicle on Young Road ran a stop sign, it struck another vehicle heading west on Best Road.
Authorities say that a 16-year-old girl was the driver of the vehicle, and have 3 passengers inside her vehicle.
Moreover, the injured people including a 9-year-old and 15-year-old girl, and a 28-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a 65-year-old man was the driver of the westbound vehicle and he was unhurt.
Reports say that both vehicles were wrecked due to the collision.
