Driver Arrested after DUI Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 in Northgate

Northgate, WA (November 3, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, two drivers sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.

The multi-vehicle crash in Northgate happened at around 1 a.m. on November 3.

Washington State Patrol said a driver came off the overpass near 130th and struck two vehicles on the northbound freeway.

Moreover, officers said there were two overturned vehicles and other vehicles involved in the collision.

Medics with Seattle Fire were able to extricate the drivers of the overturned vehicles. Those two people sustained serious injuries.

Investigators said the causing driver is suspected of impairment. The driver is at a hospital and under arrest.
