REDDING, CA (February 15, 2023) – Monday night, three people suffered injuries in a rollover crash near Lake Boulevard and Magnums Way in Redding.

Sgt. Calhoun with the Redding Police Department revealed that they received a report of a crash at 11:49 p.m. Moreover, it happened near Lake Boulevard and Magnums Way, by the Oakwood Mobile Home Park.

According to the RPD, a female driver of a white Honda sedan hit an unoccupied parked car. Then, the impact caused her vehicle to flip on its own before it landed on its side.

Then, responders took the driver and two other people in the car to the hospital for moderate injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. However, Calhoun said that impairment is likely a factor.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
