Injuries Reported in Temecula Auto Accident on Joseph Road and Nicolas Road

 
TEMECULA, CA (April 28, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, three people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Joseph Road and Nicolas Road.
 
The incident occurred at about 3:50 p.m. on Joseph Road and Nicolas Road, east of Highway 79.
 
According to reports, the crash involved two cars. However, the circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unclear.
 
When the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived, they located the crumpled vehicles. As a result, the occupants were trapped in both cars.
 
After 4:00 p.m., firefighters managed to extricate three victims with moderate to major injuries.
 
Also, officers requested three ambulances to transport patients to a regional trauma center for treatment.
 
Both CHP officers and county sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.
 
Due to the limited information available, the CHP handles the ongoing crash investigation.
