3 Hospitalized in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 33 near Hudson Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 14, 2022) – On Saturday, three people sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 33 near Hudson Avenue.
 
The incident happened on southbound Highway 33 near Hudson Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound vehicle veered off the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle continued onto the right-hand shoulder of the highway where the driver overcorrected and drove into the oncoming traffic. Then, the vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle. Moments later, a third vehicle struck the two vehicles, but the driver was not hurt in the crash, CHP added.
 
Moreover, responders transported the female driver of the suspect vehicle to a hospital with major injuries. Also, paramedics transported a male and a female occupant of the second vehicle to a hospital with major injuries. Also, authorities confirmed that a juvenile passenger of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries in the collision.
 
Furthermore, officials believed that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the crash remained under active investigation.
