REDDING, CA (April 26, 2022) – Monday night, three people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 299 near Old Oregon Trail.
 
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Highway 299 near Old Oregon Trail.
 
According to reports, a white Toyota Tacoma driver crossed over into oncoming traffic. Then, it crashed with a newer-model black Chevy Camaro near Cheyenne Drive in northeastern Redding.
 
Two people inside the Tacoma both sustained major injuries. Meanwhile, the Camaro driver suffered minor injuries.
 
Due to the crash, the authorities temporarily shut down both directions. However, it reopened by 7:30 p.m.
