Hit-and-Run Accident on State Route 167 Resulted in Injuries

Renton, WA (February 28, 2022) – On Sunday, 3 people sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on State Route 167.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that the collision happened around 2 a.m. near 180th Street.

Moreover, investigators say that a northbound Mercedes was struck by an unknown vehicle causing the car into a ditch.

Then, the Mercedes struck a tree and burst into flames.

Meanwhile, the emergency responders immediately arrived at the crash scene and took all the Mercedes’ three occupants to an area hospital.

The WSP is investigating the incident.

When driving, better to scan the road 1/2 mile to a full mile ahead in order to look out or recognize potential hazards in time.

Our bodies weren’t designed to travel at 50mph. We were designed for speeds of less than 10mph. Thus, you need to learn to consciously break that natural instinct and focus farther ahead.

Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries

A personal injury occurs when a person suffers any kind of physical, emotional, or psychological injury.

The term “personal injury” covers a wide range of cases that occur from car accidents just like what happened in the hit-and-run crash on 24th Street, assaults, slip and fall accidents, injuries from defective products or machinery, and some more cases.

When the involved individual/ suspect failed to meet their duty of care, unexpected and unnecessary personal injuries can take place.

Damages from a personal injury lawsuit range from emotional trauma, physical and mental disability, pain and suffering, disfigurement, bodily injuries, and a range of financial losses.

Consult with an experienced personal injury lawyer at Sweet Lawyers if you suffered injuries due to someone else’s negligence.
