Fresno, CA (October 9, 2023) On Saturday evening, 3 people were hurt in a deadly 2-vehicle crash near Millerton Road, the crash also killed a male motorcyclist.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal head-on collision happened around 11 p.m. on Millerton Road, west of Winchell Cove Road.

Reports say that a westbound motorcyclist veered onto the opposite lane and collided head-on with an eastbound Chrysler with 3 occupants.

Officials say that the Chrysler driver was unable to avoid the motorcycle rider, the impact of the head-on crash ejected the rider off his bike onto the roadway.

Authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene, while the 3 occupants of the Chrysler were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

CHP is investigating the probable cause of the head-on collision.
