2 Adults and 1 Child Injured in Head-On Collision near C Avenue

HESPERIA, CA (September 21, 2018) – Three people were injured late Friday evening following a suspected DUI crash on Main Street. The identities of the victims were not immediately available.

According to the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station, the incident took place at about 11:09 PM between C and E Avenues. A 2016 Chevy Malibu was heading east on Main Street when it collided head-on with a westbound 2015 Honda Accord.

The driver of the Chevy and two people inside the Honda, including a young boy, sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. All three were treated at the scene before they were transported to a local hospital by responding paramedics. There are no updates available on their current medical conditions.

Investigators believe that drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the collision. However, an investigation is still underway to verify these claims and to identify other possible contributing factors. No other information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
