3 Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on Highway 101 and Old Stage Coach Road [San Luis Obispo, CA]

Injuries Reported in San Luis Obispo Auto Accident on Highway 101

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (August 23, 2020) – Friday night, three people were hospitalized after a rollover crash on Highway 101.
 
The California Highway Patrol, SLO City Fire, Five Cities Fire, and CAL FIRE all came to the scene at about 7:25 p.m.
 
A black sedan rolled over on the right-hand side of southbound Highway 101 and Old Stage Coach Road. The vehicle landed on its roof. Meanwhile, another vehicle at the scene sustained major front end damage.
 
According to CAL FIRE, two people managed to get off the vehicles.
 
Meanwhile, some concerned citizens stopped and helped with the crash. Some of them attempted to stop traffic while others tried to turn the vehicle.
 
Furthermore, the CHP revealed that the crash resulted in major injuries. Responders transported three of the parties involved to the hospital for treatment.
 
CHP said that the crash blocked the slow lane of the freeway. Thus, they advised drivers to take is slow in the area.
 
The officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
