3 Hospitalized in Jet Ski Accident on Decker Lake [Austin, TX]

Austin, TX (August 21, 2023) – On Sunday afternoon, three people including a child were transported to hospitals following a jet ski accident on Decker Lake.

Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) officers responded to the incident and learned that five people, four adults, and one child, were involved in the accident. One of them required the assistance of a rescue swimmer.

The paramedics transported two of them to Dell Seton Medical Center, while the child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center. All three sustained potentially serious injuries.

Officers are still investigating the accident.
