3 Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on Highway 41 at Cerro Alto Road [ATASCADERO, CA]

Afternoon Head-On Crash on Highway 41 in Atascadero Injures Three

 
ATASCADERO, CA (June 10, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized Monday afternoon following a head-on crash on Highway 41 in Atascadero.
 
The crash happened around 12:35 p.m., on Highway 41. Dispatchers arrived near Cerro Alto Road shortly after. Reports also indicate that it involved two vehicles.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located three injured people upon arrival. Two of the injured victims allegedly suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics later transported the patients to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo in unknown conditions.
 
The crash closed the westbound traffic for at least a half hour at Los Altos Road in Atascadero and Calle la Palta in Morro Bay. However, the area has since reopened.
 
No identification has been released to the public at this time. The crash still remains under investigation at this time.
