3 Hospitalized after Car Crash on Broadway and McCoy Lane [Santa Maria, CA]

3 Injured in Santa Maria Car Accident

SANTA MARIA, CA (February 12, 2019) – Three people were taken to a hospital following a car accident that required extrication for two people on February 10.

The accident involving two vehicles were responded by the Santa Maria police and firefighters, along with American Medical Response personnel around 8:30 p.m. on South Broadway and McCoy Lane.

The incident left a red SUV landing on its side. Meanwhile, reports revealed that firefighters had to use power tools to extricate people who were stuck in the crumpled car.

As a result of the crash, three people were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center to receive treatment of minor to moderate injuries.

The intersection was also shut down for a time while officers conduct an investigation regarding the collision and crews make the clearing up operation.
