Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Multi-Vehicle Accident on Sepulveda Pass and 405 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 26, 2024) – Sunday night, 3 people were hospitalized after 4-vehicle crash on Sepulveda Pass and 405 Freeway.
The crash involving four vehicles that snarled traffic happened at about 9:30 p.m. on Sepulveda Pass and 405, just north of Mulholland Drive.
According to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, four vehicles were involved in the incident, and four people were assessed. A man and two women were transported to the hospital, while a boy was evaluated at the scene but was not taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Traffic continued to move slowly through the HOV lane until all vehicles were cleared to the right shoulder by 10:41 p.m., as reported by the CHP.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
