3 Killed in San Luis Obispo Car Crash on Lake Nacimiento Drive

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 3, 2019) – Three people died in a head-on crash on Lake Nacimiento Drive on September 2.
 
The incident happened at about 2:00 p.m. on Lake Nacimiento Drive and San Marcos Road, about eight miles northwest of Paso Robles. According to CHP, the head-on crash involved a Dodge Dart and a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
 
Two people died at the scene. However, a third person died later that day. The identities of the deceased are still unreleased due to pending family notification.
 
Authorities believe that the Dodge Dart driver drove under the influence of alcohol. However, the F-150 driver survived the collision.
 
Resources from the Paso Robles Fire Department and CAL FIRE came to help the CHP.
