BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 5, 2019) – On Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., a three-car accident happened on the northbound 5 Freeway just north of Grapevine Road.
 
As per reports, officers received multiple calls about a car crash on the freeway. Upon arrival they noticed three vehicles involved in the collision. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
 
However, it is unknown if any of the drivers or occupants suffered any injuries.
 
Authorities stated one lane was blocked following the crash for cleanup. A preliminary investigation began, but the road has since reopened. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident.
