Abigail Stanley Arrested after DUI Collision near Madison Street
STOCKTON, CA (February 15, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized Friday afternoon following a head-on crash on Pacific Avenue. The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed to the public.
According to the Stockton Police Department, a vehicle drove head-on into a stopped RTD bus near Madison Street, at about 12:27 PM.
Three bus passengers complained of pain and were transported to local hospitals for treatment and evaluation. Further updates on their current medical conditions were not provided. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Abigail Stanley was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and for traffic charges.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and to identify other possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
