3 Injured in Chandler Bicycle Accident on Riggs Road
CHANDLER, AZ (September 23, 2019) – Three bicyclists sustained injuries after a hit-and-run car struck them on Riggs Road on September 21.
The Chandler police revealed that a gray or silver 2001 to 2006 Lexus struck three bicyclists while they headed east in the bike lane of Riggs Road near Black Hills Way at 6:30 a.m.
The Lexus then continued driving east and did not stop after the crash.
Meanwhile, the police added that the bicyclists’ injuries are non-life-threatening.
They added that the Lexus has probable passenger-side damage, including a missing side-view mirror.
