Oakland, CA (August 28, 2021) – On Friday, a 29-year-old Alameda man lost his life in a hit-and-run crash on Market Street.
Responding officers arrived at the accident scene at about 5 a.m. at the 200 block area.
The authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene.
They said he was a victim in a hit-and-run crash.
Apparently, the victim was struck in the roadway by a northbound big rig that immediately fled the scene.
