Man Killed in Orange Pedestrian Accident on The City Drive South
ORANGE, CA (January 18, 2021) – Friday evening, a 29-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on The City Drive South.
According to Orange Police, the incident happened at around 6:00 p.m.
Moreover, it happened along The City Drive South, between Justice Center Way and Outlets Drive, near the Outlets at Orange shopping center.
Reports revealed that the 29-year-old Tustin man was trying to cross the road outside a marked crosswalk. Then, a southbound Acura hit him. Moments later, a second vehicle hit the pedestrian again.
Thus, paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities. Then, the second vehicle, only described to be white, continued driving after the collision.
According to Orange police Sgt. Phil McMullin, both vehicles struck the man significantly.
The incident is under investigation.
