LPD Investigates Deadly Collision on Memphis Avenue
Lubbock, TX (December 9, 2023) – 29-year-old Jay Chillous was killed following a 19th Street collision Thursday morning.
The fatal motorcycle collision unfolded around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection with Memphis Avenue.
Investigators stated that a pick-up truck and a motorcycle ridden by Chillous collided in the intersection.
The medical responders rushed Chillous to UMC via ambulance but he later died.
In the meantime, the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating this traffic accident.
