1 Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 34th Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 17, 2019) – A 25-year-old woman sustained critical injuries and her dog died in a pedestrian accident on 34th Street.
The incident on December 11 occurred on 34th Street and Adams Avenue at around 6:50 p.m., San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims revealed.
The woman and her dog got struck by a 35-year-old woman driving a blue 2009 Volkswagen Jetta.
The dog died at the scene while responders took the woman to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities also ruled out intoxication as a factor in the crash and they are encouraging anyone with information to contact SDPD at 619-531-2000 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
