Car Crash South of Lamb Avenue Results in Fatality
Bakersfield, CA (February 24, 2024) – A driver and two passengers, all 25-year-old men, were killed following a S Union Avenue collision Friday morning.
CHP officers received the crash report at 6:32 a.m. on the southbound lane of S Union Avenue south of Lamb Avenue.
Officers said a 2004 Mazda 6 driver was traveling south at an unknown speed when it veered to the right. The vehicle drove off the road and crashed into a tree.
Sadly, the driver along with two passengers died in the accident.
The accident report noted that the front end of the car was sheered off and landed at least 30 feet from the vehicle.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the fatal collision.
