24-Year-Old Oxnard Man Injured in Vehicle Crash on N C Street [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (August 4, 2024) – A 24-year-old Oxnard man was injured in a vehicle crash on N C Street early Friday morning.

The authorities received the crash report at 2:20 a.m. in the 1100 block area, near the intersection with Eastwood Drive.

Investigators said a 28-year-old Oxnard man was driving a northbound 2014 Hyundai Accent sedan when his vehicle crashed into a parked 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck.

The Hyundai driver and his 24-year-old passenger were trapped in the car. Firefighters pulled both of them and transported them to Ventura County Medical Center.

The passenger’s condition later deteriorated and he had an emergency surgery, He is in critical but stable condition late Friday afternoon.

Troopers believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the collision.
