Fatal Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway and 10 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 24, 2021) – Early Saturday, a 23-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on the 110 Freeway and the 10 Freeway.
The incident happened at around 1:55 a.m. on northbound 110 Freeway, south of the 10 Freeway. According to reports, the driver who fatally struck the pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian down in the center median of the northbound freeway. Then, they pronounced him dead at the scene.
Subsequently, the driver stayed at the location and stopped his 2020 Toyota. Thus, the vehicle blocked the number one lane of traffic.
Meanwhile, responders transported the driver with minor injuries to an area hospital.
Furthermore, the identity of the pedestrian from Long Beach is being withheld by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office due to pending family notification.
Also, the CHP’s Central Los Angeles office encouraged anyone with information about the crash to contact them at 213-744-2331.
