1 Dead in Irvine Pedestrian Accident on Estancia
IRVINE, CA (August 17, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a 23-month-old girl died in a pedestrian crash on Estancia in Irvine.
The incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Estancia. According to reports, an Amazon delivery struck the girl in a parking lot.
When the first responders with the Orange County Fire Authority arrived, they declared the young girl dead at the scene.
According to reports, a third-party contractor operated the Amazon van.
At this time, the cause of the crash remained under investigation. However, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
