2 Hospitalized in Independence Fatal Crash
Independence MO, (October 2, 2024) – Davontae Telar, 22, of Independence, was fatally injured following a Salisbury Road collision Sunday night.
It was about 10:45 p.m. when a 2019 Nissan Altima driven by Telar pulled onto Salisbury Road from Downey Avenue.
Afterward, the Altima then drove into the path of an eastbound 2013 Kia Sorento on Salisbury Road.
Sadly, Telar was declared dead on the scene.
Meanwhile, a passenger in the Altima and the Kia Sorento driver were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
The authorities are investigating the fatal crash.
