1 Dead and 4 Injured in Visalia Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 198 and 2nd Avenue

 
VISALIA, CA (February 23, 2022) – Monday night, a 20-year-old passenger died in a crash on Highway 198 and 2nd Avenue.
 
The incident happened at 6:45 p.m. on Highway 198 and 2nd Avenue near Visalia.
 
According to reports, a Honda driver traveled south on 2nd Avenue. Then, it veered in front of an eastbound Mercedes on Highway 198.
 
Meanwhile, the Mercedes driver couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the Honda’s right side. As a result, the 20-year-old passenger sustained fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the Honda driver and two other passengers to Kaweah Medical Center with various injuries.
 
Also, the woman in the Mercedes sustained minor injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the incident. Also, they’re trying to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
