2 Hospitalized in Oakley Pedestrian Accident on Portsmouth Street
OAKLEY, CA (April 4, 2021) – Friday afternoon, two young girls sustained injuries in a crash on Portsmouth Street in Oakley, California.
According to East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, the incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. Moreover, authorities revealed that the crash involved a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old female pedestrian.
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck the two girls for still unknown reasons.
Furthermore, responders transported one of the victims to Children’s Hospital Oakland via helicopter. Meanwhile, they transported the other girl to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch via an ambulance.
The incident is under Oakley Police Department’s investigation.
