PHOENIX, AZ (February 22, 2022) – Sunday night, a 2-year-old boy suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash near 19th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
The crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. near 19th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
According to officers, a family member pushing a 2-year-old boy in a stroller use a crosswalk. Then, a vehicle failed to yield at a red light and hit the child.
However, the vehicle didn’t stop to render aid and fled the crash scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the boy to a hospital in stable condition.
