Police Investigate a Suspected DUI Crash  near 59th Avenue in Glendale

Glendale, AZ (August 12, 2021) – Wednesday night, two women died in a suspected DUI crash near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road. 

The fatal crash in Glendale happened at around 10:30 p.m. on August 11.

Glendale Police Department said the crash involved two vehicles.

Reportedly, a sedan heading east on Camelback Road from 59th Avenue turned into a private drive when an SUV heading west on Camelback Road struck the sedan.

Both women in the sedan died as a result. Police have yet to disclose their names.

Meanwhile, the man driving the SUV has been processed for DUI.

No additional information is available. Further investigation is ongoing.
